You can manage the deletion of questionnaire links and responses from Compass+. This is in case you generate a link for the wrong questionnaire type, or if a student wants to complete the questionnaire again. Below we outline how you can delete links and/or responses in Compass+:
1. Navigate to 'Pupils' in the main navigation and then select 'Questionnaires':
2. Select the year group that you would like to delete questionnaire links and/or responses for (in this example, we are deleting questionnaire links and/or responses for Year 13):
3. Navigate to the 'Actions' dropdown and you can see two options, select 'Delete links and responses':
4. A light box or modal will then launch, first you need to select what action you want to take, you can either:
- Delete questionnaire link from student(s)
(If you delete a questionnaire link for a student, that link will no longer work. You will need to generate a new link for the student and provide the new link to them in order for their responses to be saved to their profile.)
- Delete questionnaire responses from student(s)
(If you delete questionnaire responses for a student then these are permanently removed from the system and you will not be able to retrieve them. You will need the student to complete the questionnaire again in order to see their responses saved to their profile.)
- Delete questionnaire links and responses from student(s)
(If you delete the questionnaire link for a student and their responses then these are permanently removed from the system and you will not be able to retrieve them. You will need to generate a new link for the student and provide the new link to them in order for their new responses to be saved to their profile.)
5. Depending on the selection you have made in the dropdown, the table will update with relevant students. You will then need to select the students you would like to delete questionnaire links or responses for. You can select all students by checking the tick box in the table header, or by selecting individual student tick boxes if you want to delete a specific set of student links or responses:
6. Once you have made your selection, then you can select the 'Delete' button at the bottom of the modal:
