An individual Learner Profile has four tabs; Activities, Interests and Destinations, Questionnaires and Personal Information.
You can generate a learner report for each tab of the Learner Profile, then download this or email it directly to a learner.
This article walks you through the Activities section and how to generate, download and share Activities information via a Learner Report.
Activities
1. Log in to Compass+ with your email address and password - https://auth.careersandenterprise.co.uk/compassplus
2. Click on Learner > Current in the main navigation bar. (If you want to view this information for learners who have left your institution, click on Learner > Left in the main navigation bar.)
3. To search for an individual learner, enter their name in the search box in the top right of the screen. Click on "View profile" next to the learner’s name in the learner list to view their individual learner profile:
4. From here you can view the different sections of their profile using the Activities, Interests and Destinations, Questionnaires and Personal Information tabs. Select the "Activities" tab:
5. The Activities tab is divided into two sections:
Gatsby Benchmarks
- The Gatsby Benchmarks section is automatically updated for a learner when a Compass+ user creates activities for them, or marks their activities as completed
- If a future activity has been created for a learner mapped to a Gatsby Benchmark, it will be shown as ticked in the ‘Planned activities’ column
- If an activity has been marked as completed, it will be shown as ticked in the ‘Completed activities’ column
- Please note that this section only displays the main category for the activity and does not take into account the sub category:
Activities

The Activities section shows the individual activities a learner has planned, completed and activities that were cancelled

Each activity shows key information, including the main and sub-category Benchmarks it is mapped to, as well as its status (planned or completed)
- The Activities section displays all the activities a learner has been assigned to across all academic years. Just select the relevant academic year from the dropdown box at the top of the Activities section:
- You can filter activities to show learner and parent activities:
- When reviewing a learner's activities, you may wish to create an activity specifically for them to address a particular gap in delivery. You can do this by clicking on the "Create activity for learner" button at the top of the Activities section:
Generating and downloading/emailing Activities
1. Click the "Generate learner report" button at the top right of the Activities section, then select "Download learner report"
2. A pop-up box will display outlining a series of options where you can customise the learner report and select/deselect the information you wish to generate using the checkboxes down the left-hand side.
If you just want to generate Activities information, make sure that only these boxes are ticked:
3. Once you have selected the information you want to generate, click 'Confirm' to download or 'Cancel' to close the pop-up.
4. The report will download as a PDF document straight into the 'Downloads' folder on your computer.
You can also choose to email the Activities section directly to a learner, just select "Email learner report" from the "Generate learner report" drop-down instead:
- Enter the learners email address and then click confirm
- If you need to send the report to a different address for that learner, you can enter it here
- You must verify that the email belongs to the learner before doing this.
5. The pop-up box will display outlining a series of options where you can customise the learner report and select/deselect the information you wish to generate using the checkboxes down the left-hand side.
If you just want to generate Activities information, make sure that only these boxes are ticked.
6. Once you have selected the information you want to include, click 'Confirm' to send the report or 'Cancel' to close the pop-up.
7. A green notification message will display at the top right of the screen to confirm that the learner report has been sent to the learner:
