The Compass+ Help Centre provides access to Compass+ help articles, training opportunities and other resources, all in one place. It’s available at all times when using Compass+, and has been designed to quickly find the help you need.
Note: the Help Centre has replaced the Help widget previously accessible from each Compass+ screen.
Accessing the Help Centre
To access the Help Centre, click on ‘Help Centre’ at the bottom of the navigation bar:
From the Help Centre welcome screen, you can search for and browse help articles, access training opportunities, sign-up for webinars and access other Compass+ resources:
Searching for help articles
You can search for help on how to use Compass+ by typing your query into the search box at the top of the screen. The search results will list relevant articles: click on a title link to view the article - most have simple videos explaining exactly what you need to know, with step-by-step instructions below.
Browsing for help articles
Alternatively, you can browse help articles by clicking on one of the links in the ‘Browse articles by section’ panel on the Help Centre welcome screen.
Training opportunities
CEC has provided two online self-service training modules that teach you the basics of Compass+ and help you get started. Each module has videos explaining the key features and functionality of Compass+, with short quizzes to check your understanding. Each module takes around 20-30 mins to complete.
Any Compass+ user can access the training module by clicking on the ‘View training’ link in the 'Training opportunities' panel.
Webinars
CEC provides a programme of webinars to help new and existing Compass+ users get the most from the platform. The webinars are free to attend, and last 45-60mins. Webinars cover topics such as:
- Exploring Compass+
- Future Skills Questionnaire
- Using Compass+ with partners (e.g. Unifrog, Xello).
