Please refer to the list below to see the updates that have been made to the Future Skills Questionnaire.
Removal of traineeships option
From August 2023, the government will no longer fund a standalone national traineeships programme. Therefore, we have removed the traineeship option from the question that measures understanding of different pathways after Year 11. This applies to the Starting Secondary, Transition from KS3 and GCSE Years version of the Future Skills Questionnaire.
In response to feedback from Careers Leaders, we have added some new questions to different versions of the Future Skills Questionnaire that address students' confidence and their curiosity about future options. To learn more about these additional questions, please click here.
Send questionnaires to students via email
Careers Leaders can now choose to send questionnaire links to students via email. This feature will be welcomed by Careers Leaders who have frequently requested this functionality. Guidance on how to send questionnaires to students via email can be found here.
Note: this functionality is only available to schools that have migrated to Groupcall Xporter on Demand and approved the new Compass+ connector student email data scopes. To learn more about these requirements, please click here.
Compare questionnaire results data with previous years
Careers Leaders can now choose to view students’ Future Skills Questionnaire results from previous years (if this data exists). To learn more about comparing questionnaire results with previous years, please click here.
