Compass+ has had some exciting updates recently! This means you might spot a few differences between what you see on screen when you're logged in to Compass+ and the guidance in our Help Centre. Don’t worry, we’re working hard behind the scenes to align our content as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!
Compass+ is a free digital product from The Careers and Enterprise Company, funded and recommended by the Department for Education.
Compass+ enables you to benchmark, track and report on your whole careers provision, right down to individual learner level. It effectively supports you to make important strategic decisions about careers delivery in your educational setting.
We are continuously developing Compass+ to meet the needs of the education sector, and have designed a range of functionality in product to support the effective management and evaluation of your whole careers provision.
To get started we recommend:
- Joining one of our Compass+ training webinars or watching a previous recording on YouTube to find out more about how to use Compass+ effectively in your setting
- Complete a Compass evaluation
- Complete an Internal leadership review and record your responses in Compass+
- Deliver the Future Skills Questionnaire - consider starting with Year 7 to set a benchmark for the academic year
- Add activities for Gatsby Benchmark 1 then add 'big ticket' activities that cover benchmarks 2-8 such as Careers Fairs or activities that occur regularly across the academic year
- Start to build your Careers Partners by entering contacts that deliver careers activities to your learners.
