User Feedback
We encourage our users to provide us with feedback on our products, we want to know how our products can support you to work more effectively. When we receive feedback, please be reassured that:
- Your feedback is frequently reviewed
- Your feedback is formally recorded and is never ignored
- Your feedback contributes directly to our Product Roadmap (which outlines what we are going to do and when.)
- You may not see your suggested change or improvement immediately due to many competing priorities but that doesn’t mean it has been forgotten or that it will not be considered for implementation in the future.
There are some instances where we might not be able to make requested changes, for example:
- Suggestions for new features or product improvements must be validated with other users, institutions and different institution types to ensure that all users want it before we make a change. During this consultation process we sometimes identify that this request is not supported by all users or all institution types. In such instances, we cannot guarantee that the change will be made.
- Sometimes we might not be able to develop a new feature or product improvement that has been requested if the request is technically very difficult, we do not have the capacity, or due to financial constraints.
Product Development Process
There is a well-informed process that we go through before we start developing new features or improving current functionality within Compass+. It is important to share this with you, so that you can understand what is involved at each stage of the process, it may also help to explain why developments and improvements can sometimes take a bit of time before they are live in product.
How we prioritise updates and developments to Compass+
Once added to our Roadmap, we'll kick off a project specifically for that product change or new feature which will include the following stages:
